Part of my internship at Morescope
Another part of my internship at Morescope involved designing the front page for the platform's Industries section - where users access ESG reporting requirements tailored to their specific sector. The existing structure was visually noisy and made it hard to find the right entry point quickly.
Design
Clarity through icon-based navigation
The focus was on clarity and simplicity. I created a layout with rounded icon-based boxes that function as clear entry points for each industry - reducing visual noise and making navigation straightforward at a glance.
A key addition was a CTA at the bottom of the page for users from unlisted industries to request tailored guidance. This small element supports broader engagement without making the main layout more complex.
Outcome
Accessible entry points for every sector
The redesigned Industries page gives every type of user a clear, immediate path to the ESG standards relevant to them - whether they're in energy, manufacturing, finance, or an unlisted sector. The design reduces the barrier to understanding ESG compliance without oversimplifying the underlying complexity.
